This Is Your Permission
This is your permission to pursue your dreams.
This is your permission to stop caring about what people think (pretty sure they don’t pay your bills).
This is your permission to clear space for growth by removing what no longer serves you.
This is your permission to become whoever the hell you want to become.
This has to be the year.
You have to start believing it.
You have to tell yourself that you believe it every single morning.
Just start.
Stop waiting.
Every day without action is a missed opportunity to build, learn and grow.
What if you don’t get the chance next year?
What if the ship sails and the window of opportunity closes?
What if one day you lay on your deathbed thinking, I wish I took the chance?
Bronnie Ware, author of The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, found that the most common regret people have at the end of their lives is this:
"I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me."
You are alive.
You are reading this email.
You have access to the internet, which means you can learn anything for free.
You don’t have a valid excuse to wait any longer.
The perfect time to start was yesterday.
Stop listening to your brain telling you to play it safe.
Stop listening to society tell you that you're weird for obsessing over your passion.
Give yourself time to think and ask yourself:
What do I deeply desire?
What do I want to do?
Who do I want to become?
Where do I want to go?
You are capable.
Build a plan.
Take the first step.
Fail forward.
Learn along the way.
Tomorrow might not come.
Next week won’t be easier.
Reading one more book won’t give you the courage to take the first step.
Listening to one more podcast won’t physically move your body.
Find the courage to take that first step.
Action cures anxiety.
Reps remove doubt.
You have everything you need in front of you to start.
Make 2025 the year that you took action.
